2011 Global Pet Expo
Global Pet Expo, the pet industry’s largest annual trade show, is presented by the American Pet Products Association (APPA) and Pet Industry Distributors Association (PIDA). The 2010 Show featured 803 exhibitors, 2,250 booths and more than 3,000 new product launches. 4,495 pet product buyers from around the world attended. In 2011, Global Pet Expo will take place March 16-18 in Orlando, FL. Global Pet Expo is open to independent retailers, distributors, mass-market buyers, and other qualified professionals

APPA’s New Social Network for Members

We’re proud to announce the launch of the APPA NING social network. This site is just like Facebook or MySpace, but is exclusive to APPA members. You’ll be able to create a personal profile, network with others in the pet product industry, receive the latest information from APPA, and much more.

Here are some if the highlights of the APPA NING Network:

·                     •     Connect with other members who have similar interests in the Groups section

·                     •     Upload pictures, videos and even blogs to your profile, or submit them to be posted on the home page

·                     •     Browse the video library to watch helpful clips on everything from membership tutorials to Global Pet Expo information

·                     •     Chat live with other members who are online by visiting the chat room
